Anjani Portland Cement Ltd has challenged the demand notice of the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited dated 20th November, 2021, raising demand of sum of Rs.16,71,96,831 on account of differential wheeling / transmission charges between the tariffs and wheeling agreements before the Hon'ble Telangana High Court. The Company has submitted that the demand notice raised by the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited is incorrect, unlawful and not tenable as the Company was not party to any wheeling agreement entered into with transmission / distribution licensee. In this regard, the Company has received order dated 10th December, 2021, received by us on 14th December, 2021 from the Hon'ble Telangana High Court. The Hon'ble Telangana High Court has granted stay against taking any coercive steps including that of disconnection of power supply to the Company. Shares of Anjani Portland Cement Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 310.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 311.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2722 in over 284 trades. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 313.00 and intraday low of 309.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 846822.00.
